Pyro Redesigned KSP-49 Prod Style Thermocouple

Features Quick Disconnect for Universal Integration with

Commercially Available Thermometers

The Pyrometer Instrument Company, Inc., Northvale, NJ – Introduces its redesigned Model KSP-49 Prod "K" style thermocouple. The redesigned KSP-49 features a quick disconnect that will integrate with most commercially available thermometers.

This KSP-49 incorporates a heavy-duty 12" long chrome plated rigid arm with a 5/8" diameter cushioned rubber handle. The KSP-49’s attached thermocouple wire is shielded in flexible stainless steel armor for protection against premature wire breakage.

The KSP-49’s spring loaded solid prod tips absorb shock and were designed for maximum operator comfort and safety. The prod tips they are approximately ¼" in diameter and can be sharpened or replaced. The rigid arm and flexible stainless steel armor can be manufactured to any length to suit the specific application requirements. This unit can also be furnished with pigtail connections for hookup to a remote mounted digital panel meter.

The KSP-49 is designed for high temperature applications measuring billets, molds and sheet material to 2300°F (1260°C).
