PMA Model KS407 Temperature Controller with Stepping Control Function
Ensure Tight Set Point on Gas Burner and Damper Control Applications Pyrometer Instrument Co., Inc., Northvale, NJ – North American Distributor for PMA Process and Automation Products introduces the KS 407 Stepping Controller which calculates the motor actuator stroke time into the PID Algorithm. This function will ensure a tight set point on a motor actuated control valve that is used on gas burner, damper and other temperature control applications. There is also your choice of input measurement value correction either Gradient or Parallel to correct any input signal errors. This combination of features will give superior input accuracy and control output. In addition the KS407 has a single walk down program menu which makes your initial setup a snap because there are no confusing submenus. The KS 407 Stepping has as standard Dual relay outputs for control, Single relay for alarm. Universal inputs with input circuit monitoring for input fault detection. This function will detect an input failure and will then drive the output either upscale or down scale depending on your choice of configuration. Also standard is auto tuning, second set point with function. There is your choice of selectable Alarms such as relative, absolute or relative with alarm suppression which functions at start up or at a set point change. Optionally available is the Digital Interface via RS 422/485. The KS 407 display shows set point, process variable and status of relays. Prime power requirements if 115/230 VAC. Enclosure size is 1/8 DIN and takes less than 5" of space inside your panel.
