PMA Intelligent DDC & PLC Module

Pyrometer Instrument Co. Inc., Northvale, NJ – North American distributor for PMA introduces the DC150 intelligent DDC & PLC Module.  Apart from its standard PLC functions this module is particularly well suited as a stand-alone controller.

The DC 150 features eight fixed digital inputs, eight fixed analog inputs that can be configurable as either as current or voltage. There is another group of eight I/O configurable as either digital or frequency inputs or outputs. There is a last group of eight fixed outputs that can be configured as either digital or analog along with two field bus ports and three serial interfaces for communications.

This module features high speed I/O scanning (1ms) and real time 32 bit processing which makes this module ideal for fast control loops

You can make your control function setup a snap on your PC with the Windows based software tool that includes pre-configured controller function blocks. If you require data logging capability, the DC 150 with its real time clock, modern interface and its flash memory expandable to 9 Mbytes will meet all your requirements for de-centralized data logging.

This DC 150 features a choice of galvanic isolated interfaces such as CANbus, Profibus-DP, and RS232 for programming and debugging, RS232 for modern and RS422/485 for host computer. The protocols are CAN/CANopen or Profibus_DP.

This module is lightweight at 3 ½ lb. And equipped with a standard clip on DIN Rail mounting bracket. Connections can be your choice of screw, spring less or crimp and the prim power requirements are 24 VDC at 0.3 Amp.
