PMA Uniflex GRW Trip Alarm with Universal Input
Configuration by Front Keypad or Remotely via Serial Port Pyrometer Instrument Co., Inc., Northvale, NJ - North American distributor for PMA introduces the Uniflex GRW Trip alarm with universal inputs. This unit is designed for DIN Rail mounting and accepts PT100, Thermocouple, Resistance, Potentiometer, Voltage and Current Inputs. The Uniflex GRW is available with either 2 or 4 alarm relay outputs with multiple logic possible on alarms and each contact is max rated at 250VAC, 1 amp. This module is fully programmable and has several features such as alarm hold, input circuit monitor and sensor signal correction plus a 8 segment and 9 supporting points for linearization. In addition for PLC applications this module has a 0-10 input for external set value. There is a PC based application engineering tool software available for programming this module which features a single walk down program menu without any confusing sub menus. Each application can be saved in a windows based program for future changes and storage. The Uniflex GRW has a front mounted RS232 port for the serial connection. The Uniflex GRW has a 4 digit LCD, 7mm high display and front mounted keys for local configuration and parameter settings along with green and red LED’s for alarm status. Prime power can be either 90-265 VAC or 18-32 DC with galvanic isolation between inputs, outputs, and power supply. Electrical connections are made with simple screw terminals.
