PMA / Philips Uniflex – DMS Strain Gauge & Load Cell Transmitter
Configuration by Front Keypad or remotely via PC Port Pyrometer Instrument Co., Inc. Northvale, NJ – North American distributor for PMA / Philips introduces the Uniflex-DMS Strain Gauge/Load Cell Transmitter. This unit is designed for "top hat" DIN Rail mounting and is intended for direct connection of strain-gauge sensors and load cells. The Uniflex-DMS is equipped with a highly stable bridge supply of 12 VDC at 150 mAdc. Configuration is via the front panel keys or remotely via a PC port. The scaling range is from –999 to +9999. The mV input can be processed directly or can be linearized to engineering units by means of an 8-point curve. This curve is especially helpful in level application with non-linear vessels where readings in engineering units are preferred rather than 0-100% of level. The Uniflex-DMS features the following: In the event of an Input circuit failure the monitor alarm can select the output signal to fail upscale or downscale. Password protection on the configuration and parameter settings. Input sensor signal offset correction, Min. and Max. alarm with signal suppression, Output signal of 4-20 mAdc or 0-10 Volts, Display 4-digit LCD 7 mm high, Prime Power 24 Vdc nominal or 90-265 VAC, front RS232 Serial interface jack standard. Windows based Engineering Tool Software is optionally available for remote configuration and parameter settings. The Uniflex is suited for most strain gauge / load cell sensor inputs for measuring weight or level in any vessel or tank application.
