PMA Introduces Digital 280 Panel Meter
Digital Panel Meter Meets Calibration Standard of ISO9000 Pyrometer
Instrument Company, Inc. Northvale, NJ – North American distributor for PMA
introduces the PMA Digital 280 Panel meter features pushbutton calibration and
configuration via the front keypad. Two methods are possible for matching the
sensor and the indicator to meet ISO9000 Calibration Standards. First,
calibration of the input signal at the input terminals within the limits of the
selected span. Second, selection of correcting values from the calibration table
(scaling). The measurement value correction function can correct the input
signal for any offset and gain error.
In addition the
PMA Digital 280 Panel Meter has a first order mathematical filter with an
adjustable time constant and bandwidth to suppress signal noise. Signal noise
larger than the adjustable bandwidth is not filtered so large input changes will
be quickly recognized on the display.
The PMA Digital
280 Panel meter has universal analog inputs such as Thermocouples, Resistance
Thermometer, Resistance & Potentiometer and Direct Voltage and Current. The
unit comes with a standard DC transmitter power supply output, which is ideal
for powering pressure or level transmitters.
Optionally
available are dual process alarm relays with configurable hysteresis that are
perfect for solving nuisance short-term alarms problems. If required a software
option for a latching alarm is available that can be reset by the front keypad
or by a digital input. There is also a 0/4-20 mAdc transmitter output and RS422
interface.
Prime power for the PMA Digital 280 Panel Meter is 115/230 VAC or 24 VDC. The enclosure is standard 1/8 DIN suitable for front panel mounting. The front display is a four digit LED Display available in either bright red or Yellow.
