Thanks to its high-intensity lens, a special sensor and patented signal evaluation, the CellaTemp® PX 28 is able to deliver precise measured values even with extremely low infrared radiation. This pyrometer is used to measure metals at very low temperatures.

Emissivity calculator

The correct emissivity to be set on the pyrometer is calculated from the measured value displayed on the pyrometer, the true object temperature, the emissivity preset on the pyrometer and the ambient temperature (necessary for some types).
From the true object temperature, the emissivity of the measurement object, the emissivity set on the pyrometer and the ambient temperature (required for types), the measured value calculated by the pyrometer is displayed.
