Pyrofiber Industrial

The Pyrofiber® Industrial Automatic Emissivity Measurement System (AEMS) infrared thermometer uses the latest fiber optic sensor and pulsed laser technology to precisely measure the true target non contact temperature measurement. While all non contact infrared thermometer instruments measure a target radiance temperature, the Pyrofiber® Industrial dynamically determines a targets emissivity value resulting in unmatched temperature control accuracy to ±3° C. With the Pyrofiber® Industrial, laboratory precision temperature control measurement can be made in harsh industrial environments.

The Pyrofiber® Industrial incorporates an electronic microprocessor control unit housed in a NEMA enclosure, LCD digital display, membrane keypad, power supply, fiber optic cable and connections with a primary optical sensor head and (Optional) secondary irradiance (background radiance) sensor head. The Pyrofiber® Industrial can be operated from the instrument’s keypad or remote control from a PC. The Pyrofiber’s® microprocessor control measures radiance, emissivity, and background radiance values at an extremely fast 1ms data acquisition rate.

Product Applications

The Pyrofiber® automatic emissivity correcting IR thermometer is used for many Industrial applications. This includes temperature measurement in refractories, ovens, furnaces and vacuum chambers and reactors. Virtually anywhere accurate IR temperature control measurements are required in an industrial environment. Custom sensor heads and probes are also available to suit your application.
