Pyrometer CellaCast PA 80
Description
The CellaCast PA 80 was specially developed for measuring the temperature of liquid metals in the casting channels of blast furnaces and cupola furnaces. Furthermore, the pyrometer is used when transferring the metal from the melting or holding furnace into the transport ladle or casting ladle.
Special features:
Measuring range 750 to 2Ɛ °C
wear-free and maintenance-free measuring system for temperature measurement in melting and holding furnaces as well as cupolas and blast furnaces
ATD function for filtering the temperature of the slag-free and oxide-free metal surface
two-colour measuring method for interference-free measurement in the presence of dust and vapour
high-resolution lens for reliable measurement even from a great distance
through-the-lens sighting or laser pilot light or video camera for correct alignment and monitoring of the measuring field

From the measured value displayed on the pyrometer, the true object temperature, the emissivity preset at the pyrometer and the ambient temperature (required for types), the correct emissivity to be set on the pyrometer is calculated.
