Pyrometer CellaCast PX 83
Article description
The CellaCast PX 83 was specially developed for measuring the temperature of liquid metals on automatic casting machines for plug and ladle casting. When measuring on an automatic casting machine, the position of the pouring stream can change depending on the outlet or the tilt angle of the ladle. The special feature of the CellaCast PX 83 is the rectangular measuring field. As long as the pouring stream remains within the measuring field, a reliable measured value is determined.

700 °C -- modern IO-Link interface -- wear-free and maintenance-free measuring system for temperature measurement of the pouring stream on automatic casting machines -- lens with rectangular measuring field for reliable measurement even with fluctuating position of the pouring stream -- ATD function for automatic recording and monitoring of the temperature for each casting -- two-colour measuring method for interference-free measurement in dust and vapour -- through-the-lens sighting or video camera for correct alignment and monitoring of the measuring field -- very large and bright LED display
