A two-colour pyrometer is used to measure the temperature of the billets at the outlet of the heating furnace. When measuring the temperature in the rolling stand, the wire can oscillate. The position in the wire laying varies. To solve this demanding measurement task, a two-colour pyrometer with panoramic lens (with rectangular measuring field) is used.
