During the processing of the asphalt, the temperature has a decisive influence on the consistently high quality of the pavement. In order to ensure this, a reliable recording of the temperature already during production and loading is required.
The temperature at the outlet of the mineral and recycling drum is a very decisive production parameter for the production and further processing of the asphalt.
When placing the mix, compliance with the temperature limits is essential for quality compaction and a satisfactory layer bonding.

Especially for safety concrete used for the construction of bridges, tunnels, etc., the processing temperature must be within a prescribed range. For the purpose of verification, the measured temperature must be documented. For temperature measurement at concrete mixing plants, a measuring system is required that is suitable for the harsh environmental conditions.

The CellaTemp PK 18 infrared thermometer, which was specially developed for use in concrete mixing plants, has a stainless steel housing and a special lens. The extremely resistant surface of the lens provides a high level of protection against contamination by the aggressive dusts. In conjunction with the flow-optimized PK 01-014 mounting fitting with air purge and attachment tube, reliable temperature measurement is guaranteed for many years.
