Warranty Information

The Warranty Period begins from the date your equipment is shipped from our factory. During the one year warranty period, component parts proven to be defective in materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced at the factory. The Pyrometer Instrument Company Service Department must be contacted for warranty determination and direction prior to any work being done. The Pyrometer Instrument Company, Inc. must give prior approval for the return of any components or equipment. Products to be repaired under this warranty are to be returned to the factory freight prepaid by the user who assumes all risk and cost of shipping. In the event that The Pyrometer Instrument Company, Inc. in its sole judgment and discretion, determines, for purpose of repair, that an on-site inspection is required, this warranty does not cover transportation of factory trained service personnel to and from the installation site or expenses incurred while there. Installation and calibration is not covered by this warranty agreement.

The product shall not be disassembled, tampered with, altered or otherwise damaged without prior written consent of Pyrometer or if considered by Pyrometer to be in excess of normal wear and tear, abused or used in abnormal conditions this warranty is void. Expendable items such as glass, filters, light or lamps, etc. are excluded from this warranty coverage.

Replacement or repair of component parts or equipment under this warranty shall not extend the warranty to either the equipment or to the component part beyond the original one year warranty period. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, fire, flood or acts of God.

This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether written, oral or implied. No warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose shall apply. The Pyrometer Instrument Company, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages including, without limitation, damages relating to lost profits or loss of products, resulting from or attributed to the installation or use of its product or resulting from a defect in design or manufacture of the product.
